Janet (Kristin Scott Thomas) hosts an inmate gathering of friends in her London home to celebrate her political ascension. An announcement by Janet’s husband (Timothy Spall) provokes a series of revelations, and inevitably, before dinner is served, the upbeat ambience will shatter to pieces, as festering secrets will start surfacing in this perfect domestic war-zone. Undoubtedly, after this night, things will never be the same again.
